More than just cosmetic extras
Rockstar distinguishes between two editions of GTA 6: Standard and Ultimate. The first gives you access to the full game. The second adds content throughout Jason and Lucia’s adventure, rather than offering just one gift to claim at launch. The announced bonuses include vehicles, weapons, outfits, and certain businesses, making the comparison more interesting than a simple list of skins.
Bonuses already named
The official list includes the 1995 Grotti Cheetah, Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, customized weapon variants, Vice City clothing styles, and vehicles associated with Jason’s safehouse. Rockstar also mentions a retro Ganado setup, the Rideout Customs garage, Sara’s Unisex Salon, the Shitzu Squalo speedboat, and the Stock 305 store. Other items include a 1967 Vapid Dominator buggy with a garage, a tattoo parlor, and a collection of classic cars.
Should you choose Ultimate when preordering?
Not necessarily. Rockstar plans to offer the Ultimate upgrade separately to owners of the Standard Edition, including those with a code from the boxed version. You can buy the base game and decide later whether these bonuses are worth the extra cost. Check the price and exact availability of each offer with the retailer, and don’t confuse Ultimate Edition items with bonuses given to all preorders.
One final detail: based on Rockstar’s current information, there is no standalone physical Ultimate Edition. The boxed version is the Standard Edition, with the option to upgrade digitally.
