A cinematic presentation that promises tense situations
Crime, robberies, and getting away are part of GTA 6’s identity. The official trailers set this tone very clearly: Jason and Lucia’s lives spiral into a criminal storyline that goes beyond their small-time jobs. However, that isn’t enough to describe exactly how the police work in the game.
Facial recognition, witnesses, license plates: proceed with caution
Many publications have suggested that police officers will be able to remember a vehicle, recognize a face, or methodically search a neighborhood. These ideas are interesting, but Rockstar has not publicly announced a complete system with these rules. Presenting them as confirmed features would therefore be misleading.
The real question will be how law enforcement behaves in a dense city: how long a search lasts, how capable officers are in a pursuit, and how players can disappear. Leonida Gang will check these details firsthand and document the strategies that really work.
