The Game's Name Takes on a Whole New Meaning
In GTA 6, stealing cars won't necessarily be as simple as opening a door and speeding off. Edge reveals several systems that make vehicles valuable, risky, and sometimes sought after for a specific order. One driver may abandon their car when threatened, while another may refuse to give it up and fight back. Even when you successfully take control, the vehicle may already have been reported to law enforcement.
WAINK: Vehicles to Recover for Buyers
The fictional WAINK app lets you check which vehicles dealers are looking for, among other things. It lists their models and information about their security features, including tracking devices. The most expensive cars may transmit their location, forcing you to shake any pursuers before heading to the drop-off point. The vehicle's condition on arrival also affects your payout. This turns car theft into an activity where choosing the right target matters as much as driving.
Scooter Bros: Get Your Own Vehicle Delivered
By contrast, Scooter Bros makes it easier to access cars you already own. You can request a vehicle from your phone, and a courier will drop it off after a short wait, then ride away on a scooter. Edge also describes an arsenal stored in the trunk, giving your choice of vehicle a very practical role before a firefight. When you need to escape a heist in a hurry, though, it's better to have prepared a getaway car than to count on a delivery.
A Garage That Could Become Strategic
Between trackers, sometimes nearly empty fuel tanks, and the need to keep a car in good condition, the perfect vehicle is no longer necessarily the fastest one. Leonida Gang will document the models, their confirmed acquisition methods, and any verifiable differences once the game is available.
