Brian Heder: the Keys drug trafficker who gives Jason a place to stay

Jason's past has a face, too

Brian Heder is officially described as a drug trafficker based in the Leonida Keys. He knows the local criminal networks and offers Jason a form of protection that comes with strings attached: the young man can stay at one of his properties in exchange for services.

A relationship that creates dependence

This arrangement says a lot about how the adventure begins. Jason is looking for a simpler life, but favors from someone involved in the drug trade don't come free. Brian represents a network of small obligations that could complicate an already tense story with Lucia.

What does this mean for the player?

It's tempting to imagine that Brian will provide safehouses, vehicles, or missions on demand, but Rockstar has not confirmed these mechanics in that form. His official role is primarily narrative. We'll update his profile with the locations, activities, and events actually seen at launch, without mistaking trailer clues for a gameplay guide.
